The response time of Sensice
ice detectors is 0.1s which
is sufficient for most purposes.
Other response times are available
upon request as are variable
software controlled response
times
Other
response times
Response times suitable for
different applications are available.
For use in vehicles a response
time of 0.1s is suggested while
for non time critical applications
1s is often sufficient. Response
times down to 0.01s are available
upon request as are variable
software controlled response
times.
A faster response times decreases
the maximum detection range, so if
a faster system is requested with
the detection range being unchanged,
a more sensitive system will be needed.
On the other hand, if a slow response
time is acceptable a longer detection
range may be achieved.
